From: Christine Gierer, Jewelry Designer and Instructor
Dear Jewelry Making Enthusiast,
I bet you love being creative and learning new jewelry making techniques, right?
And you're a smart person -- you and I both know the formula for perfecting a skill:
Instruction + Practice + Time = Experience = Success, right?
But for many, it is not so simple... sure finding instructions for the techniques are easy. After all, the library, the bookstore, and the magazine racks are full of material to show you the basics. And classes are available for those with the time, money, and the good fortune to live somewhere they're being offered, right?
So - - instruction -- CHECK.
But I bet you get frustrated sometimes with the littlest things. The techniques that magazines and books seem to assume you already know about.
Maybe you just have trouble making yours look like the picture.
Maybe you just want to make something that doesn't fall apart!
And what about practice and experience? Practice and experience takes time. Time well spent, to be sure. But time is something that seems to getting shorter and shorter for most of us.
And we really want to get on with the creative stuff, instead of struggling with the basics, right?
Here's a quick rundown of the lessons:
